Tennis, Anyone?

Since the day Wilson was born, Michael said that we would give him a tennis racquet for his 2nd birthday.  

Today, we took Wilson out for his very first tennis lesson. It might have only lasted about 25 minutes before he was distracted by the near by playground. But we certainly had a lot of fun in that short time. 

Daddy promised to take W back again next Sunday afternoon.

Spring is finally here (we think) so the majority of today was spent outside. 

I started with a quick 6 mile run and hurried home to have breakfast with my boys. We hit up the near by Dunkin' Donuts and then made a b-line for Lowe's. After a few games of follow the leader through the aisles, we were headed home to dig in the dirt!

Wilson had fun helping us in the front yard. Especially when he discovered the worms! 

After nap it was time for some more fun in the back yard with the new dump truck.

We finished out the day with a picnic on a blanket in the back yard and some jumping to burn off the last bit of energy.

Of course, when we told him it was time to go inside for a bath, this was his reaction.

KY Sunshine

Our trip to KY gave W a few chances to play outdoors. He discovered the basketball goal at Gooma and Bapa's house, as well as the playground down the street. We'll be hearing about those two things for a while.
